1. How does Team Valvoline Rewards work?
    Team Valvoline was established to reach out directly to the automotive community by actively engaging them in industry education and to provide exclusive access to Valvoline’s racing programs via exciting online content and rewards.  You will receive points just by registering your account.  As you complete certain activities, points will be accumulated.  Your points can then be used to redeem rewards as detailed in the rewards section of this program.
  2. How do I redeem my points for a reward?
    View exclusive rewards and experiences under the Rewards tab. The number of points needed to redeem a reward or enter an experience sweepstakes will be under each item. Follow the prompts on each page to redeem. Your points will be deducted from your account and you will receive a confirmation email within two business days. Your reward will be forwarded to you 2-4 days after the transaction is completed.
  3. Can I transfer my points or rewards to another member?
    No, you cannot transfer (or sell) points or redeemed rewards to anyone else in the program.  Any accounts suspected of this will lead to forfeiture of acquired points and possible suspension or termination of the account(s).
  4. Can I return my reward?
    You cannot return redeemed rewards. Please make sure to double check your order before you complete the transaction. 
  5. Do I have to pay for shipping if I redeem a reward?
    No.  Valvoline will cover the cost to ship your reward.
  6. How do I get points for sharing on Facebook and Twitter?
    There are points associated with sharing on your social media accounts.  Once we the share button has been clicked, your account will be credited with the points for that activity.
  7. How do I start getting points?
    You will receive your first points just by registering for an account.
  8. Why should I sign up for email updates?
    You will be required to opt-in for email in order for us to communicate with you regarding your rewards account. This will also allow you to be the first to know about upcoming events or exclusive products and promotions availableto you. You will be able to opt-out at any time on your account page.
  9. Is it possible for me to lose points?
    Yes, you can lose points is if your account has been dormant or inactive for a period of twelve months. You can also lose points if your account does not comply with the Terms and Conditions of the program.
  10. How do I get points for on-line purchases?
    There are points associated with purchases of product on-line.  You will receive one point for every one dollar ($1) spent on qualified product purchases. Be sure to login to your account prior to completing your purchase.
  11. I made a purchase before I became a member of Team Valvoline.  Can I still get points for my previous purchase?
    Provide us with a copy of your receipt verifying a purchase 90 days of the start of the program and we will credit your account accordingly.
  12. What do I do if I suspect someone of “cheating” or trying to “game” the program?
    The program will be audited on a regular basis.  Progress is closely monitored and suspicious activity will not be tolerated.  Beating the system by creating a workaround, writing a script or creating multiple accounts to get point is NOT allowed.  In order to ensure a fun and fair experience for everyone, any accounts suspected of cheating will lead to forfeiture of acquired points and possibly suspension or termination of the account(s).
  13. If Valvoline terminates the rewards program, what happens to the Points that I have accumulated?
    Valvoline reserves the right to end/terminate the program at any time.  In the event that this happens, you will receive notice and expiry of your points.  You  will be given 60 days notice of our intent and remind you to redeem by that date.
  14. It’s been a year since I have accessed the program and I have no points.  Where are they?
    If your account were to be dormant for twelve (12) months, we will deactivate you account and all points earned are forfeited.  You will be able to reactivateyour account by logging back in and be eligible to earn/receive points again. You will not recover the points lost due to deactivation.
  15. Why should I add my phone number?
    Once you redeem a reward, you will have the opportunity to provide phone number for prize awarding purposes only. Often emails are caught in spam filters and do not get delivered to the winner. The phone number will not be stored in your record for any other purpose than awards.
  16. How do I receive the percentage (10-20%) off purchase reward?
    Go to the rewards section to redeem points for a percentage off product purchase reward (10% - 2,000 pts, or 20% - 4,000 pts).  When you click the “Redeem” button, the coupon code will be printed on the screen. It will also be sent via email.  The next time you place an order, include this code in the “Coupon Code” checkbox during the checkout process. Each reward may only be used once per transaction. Your points will be deducted from your account and you will receive a confirmation email.
  17. How do I receive the rebate for in-store purchase? 
    Go to the rewards section to redeem points for two separate rebate offers. An email will be sent to you containing the rebate form.  Fill in the necessary information and follow the instructions for purchase and mailing.  You will receive a rebate check in the mail within eight weeks.  For more information, refer to the terms and conditions on rebate form.  Your points will be deducted from your account and you will receive a confirmation email.
  18. How do I receive the e-learning courses reward?
    Go to the rewards section to redeem points for this reward. When you click the “Redeem” button, the coupon/voucher code will be printed on the screen. It will also be sent via email.  You will then need to follow these steps outlined by ASE:  Before you can redeem a voucher, you must first create a profile at www.asecampus.com.  Select “Create an ASECampus Profile” from the drop-down menu.  If you already have a profile, simply log in at www.asecampus.com with your username and password. After logging in, select the Product Catalog link on the left, then the name of the desired course from the selection screen and submit the coupon/voucher code in lieu of a   credit card. Your points will be deducted from your account and you will receive a confirmation email.          
  19. How do I redeem points for sweepstakes?
    Go to the rewards section to redeem points for two separate sweepstakes prize packages.  Each entry is worth 10 points. Your points will be deducted from your account and you will receive a confirmation email. One sweepstakes prize allowed per individual, per year. For more information, refer to complete sweepstakes rules.
